Aviemore - Cairngorm - Glenshee Ski Centre - White Corries Ski Centre

Glenshee Ski Centre offers the UK's most extensive skiing and snowboarding facilities, Glenshee's impressive 21 lifts and 36 runs offer an amazing diversity of natural terrain for all standards of skiers and snow boarders.

White Corries Ski Centre, Glencoe is the oldest ski area in Scotland, with the first lift having been built in 1959 and features some stunning views from the summit.

Cairngorm has been a major winter sports destination since 1961, and still offers skiers and boarders some of the best and most challenging runs in Scotland.

Aviemore has been a popular winter ski resort for several years and also a summer holiday resort. The climate is cool, being in the north of UK.

Fishing Trips

Scotland has over six thousand lochs (lakes), ranging from small hill lochs offering wild brown trout fishing to some of the largest freshwater bodies in the UK.

Sea Fishing: Eyemouth, Burnmouth where you can hire trawlers... cod, mackerel, ling, conger, bass.

Fly Fishing: River Tweed, Adder River, River Leader... salmon and trout

Course Fishing: the beautiful Scotland Lochs, Canals and Rivers all add up to great fishing, great facilities - a great day out coarse angling

Muirfield Golf Course in Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland, which is one of the courses used in rotation for The Open Championship.

Although Muirfield is a links course, it has an unusual layout. Most links courses run along the coast and then back again leading to 2 sets of 9 holes each of which face roughly in the same direction. Muirfield, however, is arranged as two loops of nine holes, one clockwise, one counterclockwise. This means that, assuming the wind direction remains the same throughout a round, every hole on the course has a different apparent wind direction from the tee.

Dunbar Golf Club   Summer or winter, playing the links course on the shores of the North Sea is a very special experience for any keen golfer. Situated on a narrow strip of land which follows the contours of a rocky exposed beach, bordered on the other side by the Old Deer Park wall makes this a challenging course for all levels of players.

Gullane Golf Club  3 Championship Courses 

Gullane No.1 has a long history of hosting international Championship events, including the Scottish Amateur Championship, Open Championship Qualifying, Seniors Open Amateur and European Boys Team Championships in recent years.

Gullane No.2 has also been used for Open Championship Qualifying and the Seniors Open Amateur.

Gullane No.3, whilst being the shortest, still provides a stern challenge for golfers of all abilities.

St. Andrews Golf Club   St Andrews Links is the Home of Golf, where the game evolved and where the spirit and traditions of golf have been safeguarded for over six centuries. The six golf courses at the Links, which include the Old Course, are open to all, as are the golf practice centre and the two clubhouses.
