Come with us to “the Bonnie Bonnie Banks”, we will take you on a journey to the romantic Loch Lomond where you can take an optional boat trip, or just enjoy the views. Find out about one of the oldest Pictish settlements in Scotland. Learn more about the clans and their tartans and the abundance of wildlife in The Trossachs National Park. We head to Balloch for the optional 1 hour boat trip. The tour sails past six of the Lochs Stately Houses, each with a story to tell. Past the impressive Ben Lomond which is the most southern of the Munro’s.
Our next stop is Inveraray, situated on the shores of Loch Fyne in Argyll, this picturesque town is known as the gateway to Argyll. There is much to see and plenty of attractions to visit, including Inveraray Castle, home to the Duke and Duchess of Argyll; The Inveraray Maritime Museum, which houses the ‘Arctic Penguin’ a 3 masted schooner built around 1911. Why not visit the belltower of St Mary’s Episcopal church, which has spectacular views across Loch Fyne, as well as some of Scotland ’s finest bells.
Back on the bus or car and heading north to Oban for our overnight stay. The first vista of Oban is a memorable one, whether viewing it from the sea or from the road you can begin to appreciate why Oban has developed into Scotland's most popular west coast holiday town. The panoramic views of the mountains, lochs and islands which have captivated artists, authors, composers, and poets for centuries are as striking now as they were when Dunollie Castle was the northern outpost of the Scots
Day 2
Depart Oban and again head north to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most famous/infamous glens, popular with visitors from all over the world. Parts of the third Harry Potter film were filmed in Glencoe during May and June 2007.
Why not go for a gentle stroll and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, or there is an optional visit to a folk museum to hear about it's tragic past.
Back on the bus or car to Fort William where we will stop for lunch, only 14 miles from Glencoe, this attractive town has many shops and plenty of places to eat and drink.
Nestled amid awe inspiring scenery, this gateway to the Highlands is a must see in any tour of Scotland. Ben Nevis is close by, and if you are visiting in July you may catch the world famous Highland Games, which have evolved from our Clan chiefs arranging contests to find the strongest and fittest men for their armies!
For photographers and Nature buffs why not take a trip up the Nevis Range Gondola, the views are spectacular and it's great for a short walk to stretch your legs. Or we could take you to the Ben Nevis Distillery for a "wee dram". That is what’s so great about our tours’ it's just you on board so we can do whatever you like.
We depart Fort William and head North East to Loch Ness, and Urquhart Castle for some "Nessie" spotting. This has to be one of the most famous ruined castles in the world. Built on a rocky outcrop on the fringes of Loch Ness and commanding stunning views across the Loch , this is another must-see on your tour. Learn about the history of the castle in the visitor centre, look out for Nessie in the waters of the loch. Loch Ness is the largest freshwater loch in Britain and is so large, it never freezes. The area around the Loch is the heartland of historic clans, and you could be walking in your ancestors footsteps. Discover the Loch Ness tartan, or your own tartan.
We overnight in Inverness and get here in time for dinner in this cosmopolitan town.
Day 3
Depart Inverness and head south to Blair Atholl situated in the unspoilt heart of Scotland , dominated by the magnificent Blair Castle , there is plenty to see and do on your visit. Why not visit the castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, or visit the Atholl Country Life Museum .
Find out more about your Clan, in the clan shop in Pitlochry. Visit a working water mill and take a break in the tearooms.

We will stop in Pitlochry for lunch. Surrounded by stunning countryside, Pitlochry has lots to offer the visitor. There are a wide selection of shops and places to eat and drink. Visit Edradour, thesmallest distillery in the world. Check out the ‘ Pass of Killiecrankie ’ a site of historic importance and impressive view.
We’ll head back to your drop-off point now, stopping for coffee en-route.
