IMPORTANT – By making a booking with us, you are agreeing to Border Express Ltd terms and conditions.

Airport/Rail Transfers

At the time of booking full payment must be made.   

If you cancel your booking you will forfeit your payment unless we can rebook your time slot.

Border Express Ltd is in no way liable for any changes in flight details once hire is booked. 

We cannot be held responsible for delays due to bad weather, traffic delays and roadworks or for any other circumstances beyond our control.

Please ensure you leave sufficient time for your journey. 

It is the responsibility of the hirer to notify us of any changes to the booking as soon as possible. 

If you do not inform us of any changes/delays to your hire your payment will not be refunded, and you will be liable for any additional costs incurred i.e parking charges and waiting time.  These charges will be either £15/hour or the costs shown by the taxi meter or £25/hour for a minibus.

If your flight has been changed at short notice we will endeavour to collect you at the earliest opportunity, according to our schedule. 

If you decide not to wait or the alternative time is unsuitable for you there will be no refunds available, and we can not be held responsible for any additional costs to yourselves.

No alcohol, hot food and drinks are allowed in our vehicles, this is law and is for your safety and the safety of our drivers.  All of our vehicles are no smoking.  Anyone not adhering to this will be asked to leave the bus immediately.

Seat belts must be worn if your vehicle is fitted with them, this is for your safety and that of other passengers.  If you do not wear them, you will not be insured in the event of any accident.

Mini Bus Hire

We require full payment to be made at the time of booking.

If you cancel  we reserve the right to retain the  booking fee if we cannot rebook your time slot.  

Buses leave at the times stated, if you are running late we will wait for you if our other bookings allow for this, but additional charges will be incurred at £25/hour for the minibus.  If we are unable to wait you will forfeit your hire. 

Please ensure you leave sufficient time for you journey.

We will charge you for cleaning the bus or for any damage incurred during the hire.  If we have to take legal action to recover these costs you will be liable for legal fees also.

No alcohol, hot food or drinks are allowed on our buses; this is law and is for your safety and the safety of our drivers. Smoking is not allowed in any of our vehicles.

If you do not adhere to this you will be asked to leave the bus immediately.

For insurance purposes, seatbelts must be worn if they are fitted, otherwise you are not insured.

Border Express Ltd can not be held liable for delays due to weather conditions, traffic problems or any other delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

The hirer is responsible for all personal belongings, we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Refunds are given at the sole discretion of Border Express Ltd.

Taxi Bookings

We require a minimum of 2 hours notice for bookings between the hours of 0800 and 2300.

Bookings between hours of 2300 and 0800 must be booked prior to 2300 hours.

Return fares should be paid in full on the outward journey if you are travelling more than 2 miles from our office or the fare exceeds £6.00.

Remember – if you are late, we will not wait.  We often run on a very tight schedule and if you are late this can disrupt the entire day and affect all our other customers.
